Every so often, Ampersand Theater Company‘s Education Director Lee Rowley assembles a crack squad of his favorite improvisers, actors and stand-up comedians for a unique, one-off show to benefit a local charitable cause.
But NOW, thanks to Ampersand’s Artistic Director James Boland, there's an EVEN BETTER charity show, for EVEN BETTER causes! It's JAMES BOLAND (and Pals), and it's going to knock your socks off!
This time around, James is out to help a man who’s been like a father to him. A father FIGURE, at least. This June, Father Figures member Fred Dakin was hospitalized for two weeks due to a severe autoimmune disorder that led to kidney failure.
Thankfully, the condition is treatable, but he’ll still need to endure months of dialysis and treatment before he’s fully recovered — and that’s going to seriously impact his ability to work in the meantime.

It all takes place at Urban Harvest Brewing Company, where they brew hand-crafted ales in small batches several times a week. This creates a versatile line-up of beers to choose from, as well as adventurous seasonal and specialty brews.
