Ampersand Theater Company is proud to welcome Austin, Texas improv legends Available Cupholders for the Milwaukee stop of their Hindsight 2020 Tour! Bringing their irreverent, break-neck high-speed narrative improv stylings to Brew City for the first time EVER, the Cupholders will be performing one of their original formats.
PROCESS is a spoof of producing a scripted play, except that everything, from auditions, to rehearsal, to opening night (complete with real costumes and props [gasp!]) are all improvised. PROCESS has played all over the country and is an ironclad format, guaranteed to have you rolling with laughter.
And for this very special night, you’ll also get to witness the high-energy improv of Ampersand’s own CANTON, an all-star superteam of silliness from Milwaukee and beyond!
ABOUT THE CUPHOLDERS
Having played together for nearly two decades, Available Cupholders’ chemistry and charisma are unmatched in the world of improv — and it shows in their incredible level of play on stage. Team Members have worked for Second City, iO and Annoyance Theaters in Chicago, Impro Theatre and UCB in Los Angeles, Boom Chicago in Amsterdam, and are the founders of Austin’s Out of Bounds Comedy Festival, now in it’s 19th year of production.
The Cupholders have played nearly every festival in the country and many abroad including the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. Through membership in NACA in the 2000s, they toured colleges and universities, and their members have won numerous awards for improv and theatre including Best Actor/Actress in the Austin Chronicle “Best of Austin” edition.
They exist to have as much fun as possible and spread the good word about improv far and wide.

This super-special event takes place in the brand-new Ampersand Theater, Located at 628 N. 10th Street near the Marquette campus, the theater is fully ADA-accessible, with nearly 300 parking spaces within a two-block radius.
